My laptop has been lost in transit to Dell reparing center. It's more then a month, I still did not get help with this problem. Now support asking for previous owner information witch I don't know and can't reach the seller and don't know how to reach original owner. Its not right, I don't have to be responsible for the lost shipment, when Dell customer support ask me to ship my system no one told me in such a case I could lost my laptop forever. I been trusting Dell cumpany, but now they just scam people. I would never buy from Dell again, it's unbelievable they made me responsible for FedEx lost package
Dell has the worst customer service in the universe. My lcd screen cracked after 1 month and I understood it wasn't under warranty. But i spent 15 hours just to find out were to send to repair. Five people disconnected me. The voice recognition doesn't recognize voice of numbers or office vs home and they kept giving me the wrong numbers. If I had know before spending 5 hours I would have smashed it with a hammers.

I have a Dell notebook computer, Inspiron 7300 2 in 1 model that is under their 'warranty'. It developed an issue with the screen - there are horizontal lines and flickering 'ghosting' on the screen. I called techinical support, the first time a man instructed me to run some diagnostics, then I hear, 'beep, beep, beep" on my Iphone - it is the sound that happens when a disconnection is with the party I am talking with, not with an issue on my end. The second call, another service asks for a picture of my screen and sends me an email so I can reply with a picture, she also takes my cell phone number. This rep starts with a different diagnostic procedure than the first one - nothing shows up. I ask what can be done to resolve my issue, then I am told that I don't have coverage for 'accidental damage' and then hear, 'beep, beep, beep". I email a few times to her, and no acknowledgment of my emails, no phone call from her - and NO this is not from accidental damage, this was working great, was left on and when returning to it, untouched by anyone, it has the defective screen. Only buy Dell if you understand that there is NO customer service and no warranty. I ordered another notebook, same model, thinking that I would keep the new one, get the defective one repaired under warranty and give it to a friend who needs a computer. I will return the one coming and buy a different brand of notebook. They just tie you up with time consuming, tiresome procedures and then bail out. You will get exhausted trying to get your issue resolved and will just give up - and they will do nothing but occupy your time long enough to let it be known that you will NEVER get your issue resolved.
1. Dell took my money for a laptop and sleeve on 23 April but never started my order and didn't let me know so I only found out after the delivery date had passed.
2. When I contacted them they couldn't even find my order so I had to send them the payment details.
3. They asked me irrelevant details to "verify" my order and wouldn't proceed without them (e.g. "Are you in Australia?" and "What are you using it for?").
4. Because of their delays I now had only a week to receive the laptop before I left on a field trip but they didn't tell me whether they would deliver it or not.
5. They didn't deliver the device or bother to let me know so I cancelled the order and demanded a refund.
6. They only refunded one of the two payments they took when I ordered and had to ask me what the second payment was for, which was paid on 31 May, five weeks after the order.
7. The Customer Care person (Nandan Bhat) didn't speak English at all well ("In relation to the below request i understand on the below, However it the part of the verification, I you are not answering the system will not get released. Kindly reply it back to our sales team email so that we can release the Order.") and mostly sent scripted emails without consideration for the circumstances. Their supervisor, Hanuma Sri Achanta, ws no better.
8. No-one has offered an apology for the company's ongoing series of mistakes and inadequacy.
My order was cancelled with out my being informed. I called the customer service department to find out what happened. I got transferred 4 times only to be told Dell doesn't have the product. - The website still said it was there. I will never buy from Dell again the customer service was terrible.
If you wanna be treat as a dumb customer and waste your precious money then Dell is the best place.
Bought a laptop and wi-fi connection drops off every time I close the screen and resume using again. I have to run troubleshoot from Windows to get connected again. I reached Dell support via Chat, phone, screensharing, I reinstalled the entire OS as per requested by the support agent, I sent the laptop to get fixed but it was neved fixed at all. They just think I`m stupid. That is the first and last time I buy something from Dell.
I bought a dell XPS 8940 for $3000 dollars which included an Intel i9-10900 and RTX 3070 with 16 gb (2*8 gb) of memory. After receiving the tower, I noticed that during exporting photos and videos, the fans went wild and the CPU temperatures were in excess of 100 C. I contacted their website support which recommended that I call the technical department.
Long story short I was transferred to the technical support department 4 times and each time the tech department said that this is a customer service issue and transferred me to the technical support for 5 times.
At the end I had enough and I just told the representative that I need to talk to a supervisor, the supervisor kept on trying to get me to explain the issue but after explaining the issue that the wrong CPU heatsink was on my computer for 10 times I just started shouting at them to connect me with a supervisor.
The supervisor of customer service did nothing and said that this is a technical issue again.
I was then transferred for one last time to technical support where I had to ask for a supervisor again which took 30 minutes, then he took control of my computer only to do minor driver updates and disable my Intel Turbo Boot from the boot menu.
Extremely dissatisfied and shocked at how clueless and careless they were when it came to dealing with my overheating issue.
The representatives really did not care to solve my issue and at the end my computer was worse than when I initially asked them for help. DO NOT BUY a Dell product. Their costumer service in EVERY department is absolute garbage.
The worst and most incompetent international service!
Never in my life have I had to spend 3.5 on a phone call being bounced around from one agent to the next, having calls dropped because its a bad connection in India! and to boot not getting my issue resolved! Never ever again ordering anything from DELL.
if i could give it a 0 I would.
Bad product and I've now purchased 2 of them.
DISHONORABLE COMPANY.
HAS HEVER HONERED ANYTHNING THATI'VE BEEN COVERED FOR.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON'T BUY ANY OF THEIR PRODUCTS
DON'T BUY DELL, you WILL regret it. Bought a laptop from Dell and the touchpad did not work out of the box. Spent six hours over two days on tech support and the problem was not solved. Told Dell I wanted a replacement on my doorstep the next day and the representative said he could make that happen. Sat on hold for an hour and the phone got disconnected. Called back and had to re-give all of my info six more times and they said they could not replace the computer the next day and just transferred me around and around and eventually hung up on me. Their customer service is terrible and can't track complaints. You will notice there is no place to leave a review on their site and this is because it is a bad company with bad products.
the laptop never works, no service at all. call customer service, they close the call each time, impossible to talk to someone. never do business with them.
Laptop is great and all that but the battery issue is one of the major issue in this.
I always have to connect it to charger.
For years, I've used Dell laptops and designed my own desktop computers. Dell laptops are very dependable, easy to use, have a lot of features, and are reasonably priced. They're also simple to improve. Dell updates and repair parts are available from a number of online retailers. Purchase Dell laptops and tablets from a reputable aftermarket Dell device dealer for the best prices. I got a lot of my Dell laptops from them. I've never had an issue with this manufacturer, and the Dell products they sell come with a one-year warranty.
Bought a Dell Precision 3510 and the extra warranty. Though we never buy warranties, I thought we lucked out because this computer was run over by an SUV while it was in a laptop bag. To Dell's credit, they honored the warranty...kind of. I insisted on full-replacement because I couldn't imagine a laptop working properly after it had been run over by a motor vehicle! Well, Dell refused. After sending a tech to replace the screen and other computer components, the laptop was usable. However, after using it for a few hours, it would crash. Dell continued to send a tech out to replace the same parts. Guess what happened? The same thing! It would work for a short time and then crash. I will never buy a Dell and this reinforces why I never buy an extended warranty.
